“The Travel Disaster”
Traveling places is the best feeling in the world even if its 10 min or 2 days away. Many people had amazing travel experiences and many didn’t. Every three years during the summer I am very fortunate to go to the country India. One summer we had planned to go to India around the month of May. Going to India was a fantabulous experience. We had many stops on the way like New Wark, U.S, Paris, France, and Mumbai, India. When my summer was coming to an end and we were heading back home to Melbourne, Florida is was a disaster, and here’s why. We sat on a flight to Ahmadabad, India to Paris, France and that leg of our travel went fine, and then came our flight Paris, France to New Wark that’s when the problems had created. Our flight had arrived to JFK International Airport, but it was 30 minutes late. As the plan docked we rushed with our hand bags to the immigration center to get checked in, we put our bags into the scanner and my sister and I handed our passports to the officer that was checking us into the U.S. We were good to go and then came my mom; my mom isn’t a U.S. citizen so it took a little longer. She passed her Indian passports, and green card and she took pictures and fingerprinted in order to get checked into the U.S. Soon my mom was done and we grabbed our luggage, handbags, and personal items and quickly walked to the terminal where our plane was “suppose” to be docked. What I mean by suppose was that our plane had left for MCO International Airport! We were about 10 minutes late, and we had very little time to check in because our last flight was late. The three of us walked to customer service and told them our story about what had happened, and they said the next flight to MCO International Airport was going to be the next following morning at 6 o’clock a.m. We then called my dad letting him know that we missed our flight and will be taking the next one in the morning. Then came the morning of us going home finally, and we didn’t miss that one for sure. It was a calm relaxing flight back home we belonged. Home is always the one place you like going no matter how much you love a new place you traveled to home will always be missed.
