Amazing Grace
I was cold, wet, and hungry. It was Halloween night, and I was walking my five year old cousin around trick-or-treating. I was afraid she was not having fun. We went with part of my extended family, whom I love. I should not have let the dreariness of the day get me down, but I did. Then I heard her cute and beautiful voice. I asked what she was singing, and she replied, "Amazing Grace." I know it is one of her favorites. Most people do not sing when they are not happy. I knew then that this precious little girl was making the most out of a bad situation. I want to be more like H.E.H. now. I should always be singing about how I was once a wretch until God saved me.
