The definition of an origin is the point or place where something begins. I like to see everyday as an origin. Everyday a new beginning. But my past is always brought up , not by others, but by myself. In the back of my head i have a vault of memories. Good and bad. Mournful and celebratory. Beautiful and Ugly. They come up at night like bears from hibernation. Keeping me up at night. When awaken from my sleep , it's all gone. A new day has begun. The days are long and the nights are longer but everyday is new. The nights are the same. Tossing , turning, thinking.. Am I the only one awake at this time? The only one who stays up all hours of the night trying to put together puzzles in my mind. I think about the things that have gone wrong throughout the day. My days lay like points on a graph. When I make my marks they last forever, but I move on to the next. It's a vicious cycle. One day my line will go upward. No more downs. The poles will rise and it will be because of where I planted my points. It'll be because where I planted my origin.
