Moving On
She sculpted me into the person I have become today
Because of her
All the pain I endured was washed away
Without her guidance I would be astray
I wouldn’t be capable of getting through the day
She always offered me insight
She helped me comprehend the outside world
So that when I would enter it I wouldn’t be so disturbed
With her I became sensible
She taught me that reality isn’t simple
Just being in her presence I feel bliss
Then it was all gone
She had moved on
I felt dispirited
Now I talk to her once a week, MAYBE
But only if I’m lucky
