My Addiction
The one thing I can't live without is my phone. My phone is my life, I love my phone likes is my own child.
The main application I use Wattpad. I use it for reading fanfiction. For example, I was able to finish the series of the book After by Anna Todd and the book is now on amazon and i'm so excited to buy it.
Wattpad has helped me improve my reading skills. For example, I use to not like reading but then my friend introduce me to wattpad. Since that day i’ve been reading a lot and it has helped me with my school work, especially my reading points and quizzes.
The second application I use is YouTube. I use it to watch my favorite youtuber’s. For example,
I sometimes waste my time on watching babies laughing or christian the lion videos.
I think that phones and computers can affect your health an especially your learning . For Example, in the article Growing up digital, Wired For Distractions it says “Students always faced distractions and times-wasters. But computers and cellphones, and the constant stream of stimuli they offer, pose a profound new challenge to focus and learning.”
I propose an experiment with the living out my phone. I can live without my phone because i once got it taken away for a month. I thought that I would go crazy but I didn’t, the first week was hard but I still had my tv. When i got my phone back i was relieved that i got the phone back. I told my mom that I can live without my phone and she said “oh okay let me take your phone for 3 months” and I told her no im okay.
