The Scar
Have you ever had a problem that seemed like there is no solution? I was not born with a soft spot. Since then people always ask the same question of how I got my scar. Much like Helen Keller overcame an obstacle of not being able to communicate I to overcome my obstacle.
Helen Keller had to overcome an obstacle of not being able to communicate. Helen became sick at two years old and lost the ability to see and hear. The Keller`s hired Annie to teach Helen.
Annie taught Helen to trust, obedience, and language.
Like Helen I too had to overcome my own obstacle.I was not born with a soft spot that gives your brain room to grow. Doctors had to remove sections of my skull so they could put a dissolvable plate in my skull. I usually just ignore the fact I had surgery but it`s hard to when I have my head shaved because people always ask what the scar is from.
Both of are obstacles are similar in a few ways. The two of us were both very young when it happened to us. We both still show signs of are past obstacles. The only difference I can think of is that we have better technology to help us with are obstacles than helen did.
Much like helen keller had to overcome an obstacle of not being able to communicate I to overcame an obstacle of a surgery. Helen never recovered from being deaf and blind ,but she did learn to communicate. I learned how to deal with the surgery but it is still annoying when people ask about the scare. As Helen Keller once said “Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow”.
