Change
I feels like I’m falling. Falling through the sky, through the ground. It feels like the world is shifting beneath my toes, continents and country’s falling along with me.
So this is what change feels like.
Every corner I turn it feels like I’m whipping back and forth, like I’m on a roller coaster. My neck muscles strain and the world blur’s by in white and green smears. It’s exhilarating.
So this is what change feels like.
My heart swells in my chest hollowing out my shoulders and belly. First, it’s terrifying. Soon it becomes clear, suddenly clear that I’m going to be OK. Fear soon settles into a calm, warmth and coolness brushing my insides like small little fireflies.
It’s going to be OK.
So this is what change feels like....
