Rock Bottom
I've felt the warm embrace as my mother and father would hold my hand and cross the streets of life with me,
I've felt the amazing grace of the endless laughes and family traditions we had,
Even through our downfalls, we stuck together and got through it,
because that is what a family does.
We enjoyed today as if tommorow wouldn't come,
just as tommorow was just about to bring agony.
It was almost as if tommorow's agony was going to wash away the laughes of yesterday,
and bury us into sorrow and grief.
Those words would have rather been engraved in stone and splattered with dirt.
We knew my father was sick,
but we weren't willingly to expect the worst.
Since then, I've been through rock bottom and gone through aches,
hopefully I'll be able to make a comeback just in time.

This piece is about my feelings on how I felt losing a parent at a young age and I hope that those who have lost parents (especially those at a young age) can also be able to feel a personal connection as they read through my experience. Also, please don't hesitate to get help for those times you feel down because I am here to talk.
