From Strangers to Bestfriends
Have you ever experienced a friendship so deep that you never wanted it to end? Ate icecream you never wanted to stop eating? A book? A movie? If you haven't I will tell you that it something that happens everyday. You always want to hold onto that one thing because it brought you so much happiness. Here's a story about the girl that brought me happiness.
One day I met a girl on an app called Tumblr. I messaged her about a celebrity ship named Camren. We were both very excited to talk about it and share our opinions about Camren . We talked for a while and then she disappeared from my life. I didn't even think to ask her name , I was very melochany.
But one day scrolling through old messages I saw our Tumblr messages and decided to messaged her again. I was surprised when she answered me back quickly. This time I remembered to ask her name and a few other basic questions and we stared talking more and more getting to know eachother . I had never felt so connected with someone before it was like time had stopped when I was talking to her. Jessica was everything I wanted in a friend very funny and could hold a conversation. We began talking everyday on Tumblr , my friends would tell me she was a Catfish since I hadn't seen what she looked like or even spoke to her but I knew she wasn't. After a few weeks of talking online I decided to ask for her number , I was nervous that she was going to say no that we should continue to talk on this app but she didn't she gave me her number and we continued on talking the entire day. We talked of how she lived in Portugal and her favorite things , her view of the world and just anything you could imagine.
Over time Jessica became my best friend, my sister, my favorite time of the day. I confided in her, told her everything she was the only person I could I could trust the only person who I wanted to tell when something major happened. I depended on her to always be there when I needed her, to always be ready to have a deep discussion with me no matter what time if the day it was. She was five hours ahead of me and yet always found the time to be there for me and I for her. It was the kind of friendship you didn't want to lose, you couldn't lose. It was special a once in a lifetime kind of thing. My everything is what she was.
It may seem weird that I became friends with someone over the internet. She could have been a Catfish, or even someone more dangerous but sometimes you have to take a chance. This stranger became my bestfriend and I wouldn't change a thing. Would you? So can I say that the Internet is my best friend?
