Making the Team
A couple years ago my school decided to get a volleyball team for the first time. I had no idea what it was or what you had to do but I signed up. Over the summer I worked with my parents really hard on learning the basic skills. The first two days of try-outs all we did was learn the basics of volleyball and worked on them. The last day that they decided who made it or not and I missed all of my serves that counted. I did pretty good on everything else but I was worried that I wasn`t going to make it,because the coach said serves were one of the most important things. At the end of the day I didn`t even want to stay for the posting of who made it but my mom made me. It ended up that I did make. The first season I worked on my serve a lot and by the next season I had my over-hand serve and I was the best server on the team.
