Phillies 08
As I throw the magical Phillies jersey of ’08 on my back, the blossoming colors of the red pin stripes and the sea of white outlining swirl in my head. It then transforms through my heart and my soul with such pride and glory. It makes me want to shout and say, “I’m Free!” “We Made It!” I’ve been holding my breath for 28 years, now it’s time to exhale as a champion, a winner…victorious. The curse is broken, as the William Penn statue in the city stands tall and grins!
