Hidden in a crystal dem in mystic woods lived two dragons yin and yang. yin was the keeper of light balanced out the bad with the good. Yang however being the fluffy skeleton dragon he was was responsible for bad things to keep the good ones in balance this was a full time job for both dragons making sure the human world remained in balance.as much as yin loved his job helping humans was something he looked forward to. Yang however did not. Yang hates humans; she believes they are selfish.

`“Yang it’s time to go”

Yang sighed another long day she thought

Yin and Yang walked into work. Yang sipped on her coffee and yin munching on a donut.

“Yin,Yang on time as always”

“Of course” yin said

Yang did not respond and continued walking.shortly after Yin sat next to her

“Well let's get to work”yang sighed

Hours passed the same old thing taking turns deciding outcomes making sure the world stayed in balance and if for some reason they were to mess up their boss hydra would fix it.

“Hay honey?” yin said

“What's up mi amour?”she replied, turning to look at yin.

Yin looked down and this is how yang knew he was likely to ask something she wouldn't like.

“Well…you see..there's a human boy…”

“Absolutely not”

“But i didn't even finish”

“I don't need you to you said human boy you are not interfering with them other then were your supposed to that's final”

“But yang he saved a dragon he genuinely helped it it wasn't his fault it died there wasn't much he could do i just want to give him his best friend back”

“A human had a dragon friends HA don't make me laugh leave it be if he's dead probably for the best the dragon won't suffer anymore”

“But-”

“BUT NOTHING YIN DROP IT!” yang snapped at him

Yin closed his mouth and looked down, walking away slowly. Yang sighed and kept working.

Yang got a ping Alerting that she is needed she sighed and stood up walking over to the portal and going through before her a scene was frozen a house fire. Two adults a man and woman stood outside screaming.Yang pushed on walking into the fire.the scene was truly something to witness the flames frozen in time falling debris suspended in the air.their was a noise and she turned their stood yin head still down. Should she apologize she thought no then she'll think its ok.yin walked passed her up the stairs the tension was thick but yang brushed it off and continued walking.she entered what she presumed was the living area two cats and a dog frozen in place.a look of pure horror in their eyes.yang sighed

“Is there anyone up their”yang Asked

“Yeah there's a girl.”she replied

Yang made her way up the stairs and stood in the room yin was in their sat a girl crying on her bed a note in yins hand

“She wrote a letter she thinks she's going to die”

Yang sighed

“Is there a way for her to get out?”

“Yeah”

“Alright you get her i'll see if there's a way for the pets to get out”

Yang walked back down the stairs the pets still huddled together frozen in place she looked around a window was busted out from the flame but too high up the pets were surrounded by flames there was no way for them to get out.Yang walked back outside their standing right by the portal.

“Ready?” he asked

“Ya i guess”

They walked through the portal to the other side a big screen displaying the scene they were just at but now it was moving in a few minutes the girl from before was upstairs her window slid open and a chain of clothes flew out sliding down it she ran to her parents crying.the parents hugged her crying and glanced at her hand their were severe friction burns but she was ok.

“That was smart”Yang admitted

“Thanks”he smiled before walking off.

Hours passed again and Yang was getting tired. An alert popped up on her computer Balance needed! Restore? Without reading the memo of what that entailed she pushed restore her eye sockets closing just a quick nap she thought

“yang…YANG! Wake up sleepy head it's time to go home”

Yang opened one socket then the other before she could protest she was being scooped up and carried with a small kiss on her skull.

“It's ok dear go back to sleep i'll get us home.”

Yang awoke in bed yin not their yang panniced

“YIN!”

“In the kitchen dear”

Yang rolled out of bed, tail dragging behind her.

“Your up early”

“Ya i'm making an apology breakfast”

“No yin i should be the one making an apology breakfast i shouldn't have yelled at you im sorry”

Yin was still for a second

“Yang i ...i didn't listen i couldn't they were both so sad”

Yin flipped the pancake yang was mad

“Yin-”

“I know i'm sorry i didn't want to because i want you to not be upset but ik you are going to be because i didn't listen im sorry”

Before yang could protest yin started coughing yin turned a smudge of gold on his hand he looked up at yang and his knees gave as he felt yang rushed to him catching him weirdly but enough he didn't hit his head.

Yang set him down and pulled out his phone

“*Ring**Ring* hello this is the dragon emergency line what's your emergency, where, and how bad?”

Yang's voice was frantic and trembled

“Um Its yin he was coughing blood and passed out. It's in the crystal den in crystal cove please hurry!”

The operator shouted something and sounded worried

“Its ok yang we'll be there in 5 minutes my name is linda were coming”

The line went dead a black tear rolled down Yang's skull splashing silently on the floor. What's going on, she thought.

Linda stepped out of the room and shook her head

“Well what's wrong with him?” yang asked

“He's got Trythona….his life line is fading quickly. If I were you I'd go spend as much time as I could with him…he won't make it the night. I'm sorry.”

“Does he know?”yang asked

“No i didnt tell him its a bit of a touchy subject so we figured we’d better let you do it.”

Yang's ears fell and she held back tears as she walked into the room where yin laid in their bed.

“Hay honey im sorry i upset you earlier i shouldn't have helped the human”

Yang smiled

“Oh mi amour that doesn't matter i'm not upset”

“What did the doctor say?”

Yang was silent for a moment she didn't want to scare yin. Only a night left she thought sadly

“You’ll feel better soon”

Yin smiled up at yang.Yang held back tears and climbed into bed with yin holding him tightly.

“I love you so much” she whispered

“I love you to” yin replied

Yin closed his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep. Yang followed soon after hoping the doctor was wrong.

Yang woke up yin still in her arms cold unmoving and lifeless yang pulled yin closer and cried screaming until she couldn't anymore yins body turning to glitter and floating away yang held a piece that was trying to float away

“No please don't leave me” she cried

The piece floated away their was a knock at the door

“Ya” yang said weakly

“Its Frank im sorry Linda told me what happened i came by to tell you that we’ve found your guys replacements and i hope it gets better”

“YANG!”

Yang snapped back to reality

“Yang you really need to move on dear you were 18,000 when that happened your 250,00 now. How are your anti-deprecents working for you?”

Yang looked out the window her face blank expressionless and cold

“Fine i guess”

The therapist wrote something down

“Well i'll see you next week try to keep moving forward and not looking back”

“Got it.”

Yang opened her front door moving sluggishly exhausted mentally, wore down with depression. As She walked into her room she picked up a picture yins smiling face looking up at her. She sat on the bed just staring at the picture.her face was still emotionless until their was a tickle at the back of her throat.started coughing lightly at first to ease the tickle then harder and in an uncontrollable amount. And she couldn't catch her breath. her vision slowly dulled slowly she looked down at the picture of yin spots of metallic purple slid down the frame. She looked up and saw yin.was she dreaming

“It's time” yin said

“For what”

“For you to come with me”

Her vision went black then light almost as if she had blinked yang glancing up yin was still their holding out a paw she looked behind their her body lay slowly turning into purple dust a tear fell from her face as she took yins paw

“I've missed you so much” she said
