The Struggle
Summary:
Willow has lived years drowning within her own depression. Her mother took her younger brother and left, leaving her behind with the abusive beast she calls "father." Willow feels as if she is an anchor, constantly being weighed down by the wretched voices inside her head. With each possible bubble of air popping within her hand's grasps, she decides the only way out of this misery is through death. But before she is able to commit suicide, she befriends a boy. This boy opens up a new path for her, one where happiness exists. But after all Willow has been through, will this be enough of a reason for her to stay alive?
