I Thought You Had Left
Summary:
A chilly air passes over my skins, but I’ve stopped getting the goosebumps. Time has dulled my senses. The only sense that feels completely alert is my brain, and it won’t stop asking questions.
Though, I know I’ll never find my answers if I don’t get myself out of this room. But there are no windows. The door’s sealed shut; it’s thick, dense concrete. And the flap through which my captor’s been feeding me is too narrow for any attempt to escape to be viable.
I guess I’ll have to wait: wait for whatever is coming. It doesn’t seem like my searching for answers has done me any good. Maybe for once, I should let the answers come to me. Yes, maybe that is the best option.
