'Tough' Love

Summary:
This story is about a relationship that has affected me for the longest time, fully convinced me that I could only be loved if I let someone demand certain things and push me around solely for the reason that my parents were the same. The story took a toll writing because it is about my life and what I grew up with. I have been carrying around everything with me, rejecting the feeling of a burden or of being the "glue" of the family. My parents' relationship has shown me I should not be taking anything from anyone regardless if they are someone I love or not.
