"Hurry up, my child, it's almost late to get on the bus!" - my mother's voice urging me rang out. I hurriedly carried my suitcase and ran at my fastest speed. I finally made it on time to get on the bus. This is the first time I have come to Lao Cai province, and it is also the first time I have experienced the interesting things of the mountains in my country - Vietnam
I was very surprised when I first set foot in Lao Cai, the air here was so fresh, and I could see the cool green tea hills and the scent of nature in the early morning. My whole family rented a motorbike for convenience so we could visit more deeply in the local village in Lao Cai. And I realized that in contrast to the beauty here, people's lives still lack many things. I saw a child having to eat rice and water because there was no food at home, another child was shirtless and had to walk barefoot even though the early morning weather in the mountains was quite cold. When I passed by their school, it was completely different from the schools I had seen. The schools here are just small houses that people built themselves and the classrooms don't even have doors.

Despite material deprivation, the people here are very friendly and affectionate. They taught me how to pick tea and brew their specialty tea deliciously. They invited me to their house to eat a meal of their regional specialties and they even took me to visit beautiful places around Lao Cai without me having to do anything for them.

After an exciting trip, I found Lao Cai to be a beautiful place, worth visiting, but currently not known to many people, and as far as I know, many other mountainous areas in Vietnam are the same. I am determined that in the future I will try to study and join a travel company, researching tours in the mountainous areas of Vietnam - beautiful places that not many people know about to help people. People living there have an additional source of income.

Currently, I am still a student, I participated in an extracurricular activity doing tea business in Lao Cai and building infrastructure there. Although this project cannot help all the difficulties of mountain people, in the future I will participate in larger projects and organizations and do more useful things to fulfill my wishes - helping disadvantaged people in mountainous areas of Vietnam.
