Winter

Winter often brings forth snow.
Howling winds cause
roads to close and drifts to grow.
Snow clings to forest trees,
hiding their shades of green.
In their place paints
A winter wonderland scene.
If the sunshine
glances off them just right,
diamonds seem to glisten
sparkling and bright.
Although winter may not be
my favorite of all the seasons,
I believe I do have
my own special reasons.
