Minnesota: A great state 
Minnesota is a good state compared to other states. Minnesota is a good state to live in for four reasons. The first reason is the great trails around the state north, east, south, and west. The second reason is that we have many places to fish and you can catch many different types of fish. The third reason is how good the economy is in this state. The fourth reason is the top-notch teaching that Minnesota has been offering us as students. With these four reasons, I will share my opinion on why Minnesota is a good state to live in. 

  Trails are a great way to explore Minnesota. I enjoy that we have 1,300 miles of trails spread out in the state of Minnesota according to the “Department of Natural Research.” Many trails are also in the surrounding area so it is easy and fun to go to other trails. I have gone on many trails in Minnesota. Close to where I live, I have walked multiple trails in Nearstrand State Park. Another place I traveled to was the Mystery Cave State Park to explore the trails with my grandpa and grandma. Trails are a great way to be connected with the lakes.

Lakes are where I go to enjoy fishing with my grandpa. I have always loved fishing since I was a little kid when my grandpa introduced me to it. The lake that I traveled to the most was Lake Cascade in Rochester, MN. As it is said we have over 10,000 lakes in the state and I have only seen about 25 lakes. When you go fishing in a lake it is a fun and a good skill to have if you are in the wilderness. Also, there are many lakes around so even if you go to one you don’t want to, you can always go to a nearby lake. This variety is one of the main reasons that Minnesota is a good state to live in. The enjoyment of fishing on the lakes is a great resource for boosting the economy in Minnesota. 

 Minnesota has a strong economy and many people have been successful here. The “SBA’s Office Of Advocacy” identifies how many businesses in Minnesota can and have been successful here. Since we have many companies, we have had 13,527 job openings. The “MN Compass” tells us that there are 3,419,142 million employed people in Minnesota. I believe that Minnesota’s economy makes the housing market cheaper. We learn about the economy in school and that is why education is so important.

Minnesota Education has been very affordable and has great teaching. According to the “Minnesota State Board of Education,” it makes schooling affordable and convenient. The state of Minnesota has many options for students looking for colleges and universities. The “University of Minnesota” tells us that “Systemwide, the career success outcomes rate is 93% and it's now almost 10% over the national average. Nearly three out of four employed graduates work for a company or organization located in Minnesota.”  The are nearly 200 private and public institutions for students to look at.  

As you can see there are four reasons why Minnesota is a good state to live in. One reason is having great trails around the area. The second reason is there are many fishing places to go to when you are free. The third reason is how good our economy is in the state of Minnesota. Last but not least, the fourth reason for having the best teaching in this great state which is due to our teachers. That is why Minnesota is a Great State to live in.
