The Computer
In my opinion the greatest invention of the twentieth century is the computer. The computer has many applications. Not only does it allow you to keep track of time, it gives you the ability to have the most information in the palm of your hand (literally.)
The computer has programs specifically made to help explore and write about any topic you wish to enter into your search engine. New websites are created and discovered every day. This allows curiosity for the user. What other cites could be out there? The computer also provides tools for students. I no longer have to go to the library to find my information. Instead, I can look for it online.
The computer has made an impact on society. They have been made so young children learn how to use them. This makes the senior generation have to learn how to use them as well, because paper and pencil are on the verge of becoming obsolete.
