The Best Pet Aroung
The Best Pet Around
Searching for an adorable exotic pet? The same old house pets of dogs, cats, and fish are getting tired. There are many other exotic pets to keep in your home but the best choice would be the cutest one of them all: a Sloth! These tree huggers of the Rainforest are the ideal exotice pet for homes everywhere.
Now, some people may be concerned that since a sloth is a wild exotic creature, how can they be safe? So, let me assure you on what affectionate personalities sloths have. Sloths are very loving animals and are said to act like infants. They love to play games like peek-a-boo, they prefer to cuddle with stuffed animals to keep them company, and adore hiding under blankets like hide-and-go-seek. Since sloths are known to be slow, so it is impossible for them to harm others, you also would never have a problem with them escaping. Sloths are great around children because they love to play with them and although they do have somewhat sharp claws, it is not in their nature to use it to claw on people.
Sloths are easily the most clean pets as well. Even though they strive to live in a home like their natural habitat, they respect where they are and make no messes. With sloths being slow movers you would never have to worry about them ruining any of your items like other pets would. No dirty paws, broken lamps, or even scratched up couches with a Sloth around! They are also not generally noisy and are not a disruption to others. Sloths also enjoy to be bathed and blow dried which keeps them nice and clean for long periods of time. What animal looks forward to baths? Of course a Sloth! Not to mention you would never have to worry on cleaning after them daily because Sloths only go to the restroom once a week! I know I just loathe having to come home and clean after my puppy everyday, I would look forward to doing that duty if it was just once a week!
These safe clean creatures are not a problem to take care of. There are very many easy ways to keep your Sloth healthy and satisfied. All you need to give them is the proper Sloth diet. In the wild, Sloths are used to eating tree leaves and sometimes snack on fruits, but occasionally the tree leaves may be hard to find in some places. Luckily, you can feed you Sloth food called Marion Zoological Leafeater’s Diet Biscuits, which you can buy at a local pet store of online, and they give the same needs tree leaves gives to Sloths. For little treats to surprise your Sloth with, you can give them lettuce and a couple of insects. As a pet owner of a Sloth you should provide a tall cage with some fake trees, ropes for them to swing on, a hammock for their cozy bed, and some toys to play with. Sloths will soon adapt and learn to love your home.
With Sloths being safe around others, generally clean in their environment, and easy to take care of, makes them a perfect choice for an exotic house pet. They are becoming the newest fad to many pet owners around. Let’s not forget how adorable these cute animals of the Rainforest are. How could you say no?
