Snoopers
Did you know that stores spy on you while you shop? Many retailers are snooping more than ever! Stores track your phone, the stores camera record your every move, and they can look back at you through videoads. I believe stores should stop spying on people without them knowing what kind of information they’re stealing.
First of all, the store you go to can track you down and steal your private information. The moment you walk in a store they connect to your phone. The store monitors all visitors cell signals. They help create heat map that glows red where the most foot traffic is. The phone ID lets stores know when you shop everyday your ID signal comes back in range.
Next, the stores camera record your EVERY MOVE! Gaze trackers are hidden in tiny wholes in the shelving and detect which brands you’re looking at and how long you look at them. They also have mannequins

whose eyes are cameras. Some may argue that it’s impossible to avoid tracking.
Finally, when you look at videoads they can look back at you. According to “ConsumerReports.org” they say stores can determine your age group, sex, ethncity, and your mood. Only because it can serve up a message targeted to you.
You could argue that, the stores tracking system senses your smartphone and monitors your movements... but here’s the weakness... having the store track your phone is very dangerous because they could steal your identity and hack your credit cards.
When you weigh all the evidence, you can conclude that stores shouldn’t spy on customers. Businesses claim that all the spying they do is harmless, that they’re only gathering the data they need. Next time you walk in a store be aware of what’s coming your way.
