Internet Addiction
Some kids and adults spend most of their time on the internet. Some of them spend too much time that they get unhealthy because they don’t go out that much. My solution is to get people who use the internet educated what it really does and how it may affect you and your future. `
Spending all their time on the internet can cause eye problems and health problems. Some kids ages 8 to 18 spend an average of 10 hours a day on the internet or on watching T.V. The internet cause can cause people to have depression problems so they think that going on the internet is their only escape, but in reality it might just get worse. Which can then cause anxiety problems.
Depression is not only cause by getting bullied in school or going through rough times in your family, it can also happen online. A total of 312 surveys was collected and 259 people said that people have depression from the internet.
I think i have some what of an internet addiction. I could stay up all night and be on my phone. I would go on the internet instead of doing my homework. I would always get in trouble from my parents because I would be on my phone all the time. I would get my phone taken away and basically get grounded. I have finally learned my lesson to do homework and chores before going on my phone or on the internet.
Some might argue that going on the internet can help you meet new people. However, IF you meet new people they might not be who you think they are. You can get depressed and might get anxiety. I’m not saying you can’t go on the internet, do what you have to do before you use the internet.
