Politics, we all have our opinions on who we think should be president, governor or state representative and why we think they should be their, it’s what makes our country so diverse. If someone believes in something you don't, good for them, that doesn't mean you or they are wrong it means they have an opinion and they’re gonna stand by it. America was built of amendments and the first amendment states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” People can say what they think without being judged and without being looked at different right?

If people think their vote doesn’t matter, let them think that, we have no authority to tell them otherwise. The audacity of people nowadays, people think they can go around telling people whether or not their opinion is right, making people think they have to believe in one thing and if they don’t then they’re just “stupid” or “wrong.” But shouldn’t everyone be able to have their voice heard, Have their opinion matter?

People are so influenced nowadays that what they think is right, they think is wrong, they don’t want to speak up because they're scared that they’ll get turned away or looked at differently. That’s not what America was built off, America was built off people having a say in politics and knowing  their opinions truly matter, that their votes are what shaped our government, the people decide for the people. The percentage of voters has been at an all time low, and are decreasing by the year. Will you help make a change in those statistics?
