Guns and God
It is a constitutional right for the people to have and possess guns. The dispute, however, that seems to surface into the minds of both the public and officers is—will taking away this right, reduce violence? Allow me to summarize the events that would follow if, indeed, gun possession was made illegal.
Imagine a world in the mind of a criminal, a murder, a man or woman with the impression that they have been given the short end of the stick. Quickly you will begin to notice the overwhelming pain for revenge and consuming passion to seek justice. To you life has always been against you. Your very reason for existence is directly due to understanding only the toughest survive. Thus, you have endured pain after pain. You have sucked up punch after pinch, kick after kick. You have witnessed friends shot, sisters and brothers tormented by sexual offenders. To you the world is evil, and the very reason you can approve of crime is because you are a part of this world. Now imagine with all this pain circulating within your veins, that the only thing keeping you at bay, in the slightest is now removed. Now those who were apparently feed with a silver spoon are at your mercy. They cannot defend themselves, and therefore it is now you opportunity to take out this obtain on these victims.
In accordance with this idea in mind, it is easy to understand that guns do not kill or create violence…it is the people behind the guns. The energy of the government shouldn’t focus on eliminating the tools for destruction but the seeds of corruption. I believe there is a God in heaven that if given the opportunity within our hearts, can restore the pain of years of abuse. He can redeem the years of abuse and take away the frustration within. It is the right of the American culture to defend themselves, but more importantly to maintain the idea of security. You take away the guns; you take away the only barrier between good and evil. The only reason darkness cannot spread to all regions of life, is because there is a real threat being expressed by the light. Violence is merely the outward expression of the years of darkness this generation has faced. Guns aren’t even the topic of discussion, just a sign indicating the dismantled society, which refuses to acknowledge Judeo-Christian morals.
I vote we get back to the basics of what this country was created for. In God We Trust.

I totally agree with you. Have you ever heard of the slogan, "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns"?
You brought up some great points. Having two brothers who are gun owners, I definitely believe a gun is as dangerous as the one who wields it.
And yes, I definitely agree with your statement about God. You stated things incredibly well, and I commend you. In God we do trust.
I don't know why the previous person called this a satire. There's no reason why this would be one.
