Shouldn't Guns Be Banned?

I believe that guns should be banned. Guns kill, guns hurt, and guns injury. I hope guns are banned due to the New-town shooting and columbine shooting. I'm not trying to say everyone who has a gun will kill somebody. Not everyone is bad in this world. You may disagree with me.
I do go and do target shooting with my grandfather. But I would never actually kill/shoot anyone only if it was for my country/family/self-defence. my friend says "no" i disagree. Me and him both like to hunt and go target shootng, but guns kill/hurt/injury.
