The Government is trying new things that I think they are making a mistake on. The first and biggest mistake the Government is making, is they are trying to start a Gun Control Act for a few incidents that have accured with a gun with the name AR15. The Goverent is trying to just stop the whole entire production on this gun in general. In the process they are trying to eliminate the number of bullets a clip can hold down to about four. In my opinion, the Government is making a huge mistake and this is why.

First reason the Government is failing to look at all the hobbies they will be destroying. What about the people that hunt? I myself am a hunter and I sure do not want that hobbie taking away from me. With this new Gun Control Act the Government will be destroying are hobbies and also throwing away or protection in the process.


Millions of people around the United States use a gun for protection purposes. I also do my self. A gun is not made to be used against other humans. Its not even the gun that is hurting people. It is not the bullet either. It is the person behind the gun. The person that is pulling the trigger that sends of the round. Yet the Government is still failing to understand that. Which takes us into the Second Amendment.


The Second Amendment gives us the right to bare arms. Which means they can not legally take our guns away without breaking this Amendment. Which is why they are cracking down on everything else besides physically taking the guns away, because we all use them for protection.


In the end I do not think the Gun Control act will pass. They are trying to elimate a lot in just one short period of time. They will end up re looking and realize that they can not pass this law without breaking the Second Amendment. Plus they need to look at all the people they will be hurting taking all these weapons away, because they were not built to kill. They were built as hobbies. Like I said earlier its not the gun or bullet that kills people. It is the people pulling the trigger behind the weapon that kills people.
