social network hazards

Have you ever thought that you were sharing too much information on social networks? Or that someone can see your personal information? Anybody on that social network that you are on con see what you post. Teens are putting too much information on social media.
When you post something like a picture or a comment you don’t know who is going to see it and what they are going to do with it. They can photoshop the photo to make it total different or to make it inappropriate so it looks bad on you. They can also on post bad comments on your pictures. Critics may say there is no way to stop this. One way to stop this is to put up privacy settings so only your true friends can see it.
Teens post their phone numbers, addresses, age, school, and much more on social webs. You don’t know who will see these things and what they are going to do with it. Like an identity thief they can steal and use this information for themselves just by going on your profile on social networks. Critics may say what if they are talking to their family. But not only their family members can see it, whoever on the social network or that is following you can see it. A way to stop this is by not posting this stuff at all.
Some teens will post where they are going. They would say going to the mall or leaving to visit family. You don’t know if someone will follow you or will rob you if you are leaving your house and you said so. Critics may say nobody is going to care. There are many people on the network that look for that stuff so they can follow you or rob you. A way to stop this is not post this at all.
Teens post way too much information on social media. The most easiest ways to stop this is to set up privacy settings or to not post them at all. They don’t know the dangers till it is too late.
