"There are plenty of critics in the arena. [President Obama] deserves my silence."

After 8 years of the worst verbal abuse seen in the history of this country, that is not the sort of statement one would expect President Bush to make. Even so, Bush retains his ever-gracious countanance, his honor, and his dignity by refraining from doing the very thing that he has endured for nearly a decade.

It is time to give President Bush our silence. No man on earth deserves what he was given by the people who elected him. The treatment Bush recieved, from the media, the people, and his colleagues in politics was abominable. Let me ask you, would you treat your neighbor they way you've treated Bush?

President Bush, you deserve our silence.

I am not a conspiracy theorist nor am I a radical calling for reform but George W. Bush is a man who not only let his people down but lied to America. 9/11 is a perfect example of how Bush betrayed his people. There are many corrupt officials in our government and as mature teens and young adults we owe it to ourselves to be informed and stop feeding into the garbage that the media feeds us. Check out these documentaries on youtube.com or on google video: 9/11 Press for Truth, 9/11 Mysteries, and Zero 9/11 (Italian Documentary)

Nice post Toni! I totally agree with Gossamer, no matter what the president does, there's always going to be someone who's not happy with it. Some people say that going to war was a mistake, what would they have done? said "Oh, it's okay for terrorists to kill our people, we're not going to go to war with the terrorists because some of you think we shouldn't." That's just stupid, what else could he have done? He didn't do a bad job, everyone just likes criticizing the people that lead them because it's easy, we've given Bush crap for so long, it really is time for us to be quiet.

Love. I don't care what happened or who did it to you. Love anyway.

Amen. Bush wasn't a good president, but people act as though he's not even human! It's an incredibly grueling job, and I'm sure he really wanted to help the country at least a little bit. Can't you give the guy some credit for that?

And even if you don't praise Bush, it's really not necessary to collect every time he trips over his tongue and then make a nasty e-mail with them. That's just pathetic, picking away at a man comme ça.
