Life and Hypocrisy

Drugs and alcohol are often a teenagers favorite things. I hear it all the time. "I got so f***ed up last night." "I smoked so much weed." I am, in a way one of those kids. I drink. I smoke. I've popped pills, I've eaten psychadelic mushshrooms, and I wouldn't regret any of it. There are people who over-do it, and those people are the reasons we have rules in place, but a lot of times, the rules aren't because of your best interest, they're for somebody else's. These people, the ones gaining from these laws, are making money, and probably in some way have affected your life. Alcohol companies support the prohibition of Cannabis, just like the Tobacco Industry. They know that if there is something else better, and healthier out there, then consumers won't buy from them. These people buy and own advertising agencies that publish propaganda. The conservatives like to think they're perfect, and the conservatives have their publicists to thank for the people thinking that they are near perfect. Above the Influence was conducted by the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The ONDCP's first director, William Bennett is a good example. He supports the legalization of Medicinal Marijuana and all drugs. The same William Bennett also lost millions gambling in Nevada. Mr. Bennett also smokes cigarettes. I'm not trying to start a war on cigarettes, I support the regulation of Tobacco, but we all know it's dangerous. More dangerous than Marijuana, at least. William Bennett is a hypocrite. If you looked closely, you'd see that the people who run these bills and agencies are either have an alternate agenda, are uninformed, or are hypocrites.
