Celebrity Comfort Food- The JD Sundae

During the times I feel depressed because there is a hole in my heart that desperately needs to be filled, there is a source of comfort in this materialistic world that I can depend on to lift me. Bruised, defeated, and diminished- the world has done this to me. But fortunately my comforter is there; he is in the form of a human, a man, a celebrity actually. He represents the promise of better days to come, and I am thankful for that. Looking at him, I am uplifted, renewed, and full of hope for the future. As unreal as this may sound, his abilities give me optimism about the human race, and I appreciate him for doing that. From a distance that spans across the movie screen, I think he is perfect, or as close to it as one person can come.

What I can describe is his countenance and at the same time, his personality, which I have envisioned in my mind. To help you feel him along with me, I will give you this image to initially think upon. Imagine you are at an old-fashioned ice-cream parlour, complete with bar stools and a marble countertop; you look at the menu to order. Something catches your eye in the original, homemade recipes. The description is something like this: enjoy the heavenly, ambrosial taste of our double dark chocolate and gooey mint chocolate chip triple scoop banana ice-cream sundae covered with fluffy whip cream, spattered with cherries, and spotted with chunks of chewy cookie dough. Based on this picture, would you purchase this luxury? I would, if only I did not reside so far away from it. If I were not outside the diner, staring longingly inside from the back window, I would be the first to delve into this dessert.

But closer to home, I can imagine him to be anything I desire. Like a cup of hot green tea at the end of the day, he satiates my senses with his delightful talent and appearance. But this cup of tea is like no other liquid you have tasted. It is seasoned with the most thoughtful and tasty ingredients- a squeeze of lemon to add a hint of tanginess and a generous amount of clover honey to sweeten the natural taste. Added to this medley is a plate full of one of the most tasteful and enjoyable foods to have ever been created- chocolate. Chocolate comes in many forms, but this particular kind is a chocolate éclair situated on a tea plate, ready to be consumed. The end product of this meal is something purely delightful. With such a unique taste, it can never be replicated. Every night, the sensation I gain from the tea and chocolate treat is different; they all make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. The same is what I feel about him.

The first noticeable element of his features are his cheekbones, high and noble, they appear like two full moons when he laughs, which is not often. When he does, it is quite a treat- like eating the last truffle in the box. Some people say that his cheekbones are what define him as a beautiful person, but I passionately beg to differ from this assumption. There are so many different ingredients that combine flawlessly to create the face I adore. I would have to compliment most fervently his eyes- two deep round pools of milk chocolate that shine when he smiles. He might smile to millions of people on the big-screen, but I can imagine that he’s smiling especially to me. That leads me to his mouth, intense and full, like a pie filled to the brim with goodies. It doesn’t matter what kind- fruit, meat, or glaze, they all can describe his many characters, each special in their own way. For each one, there is a diverse but similar taste that still leads to the same satisfied result. But let’s move on to the hair. I would like to describe it as running my hands through silk, but that is overdone, and he doesn’t deserve anything cliché. So I will describe it in a way that hasn’t been done. It is like a sweet vermicelli dessert, boiled with milk and sugar until tender, then sprinkled with the finest nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove spices. The creativity flowing from his brain is like the wild grapes growing beside the highway- free, glistening with untamed virility, and able to be enjoyed for the simplicity it has to offer the world. Not conventional? Think about it. So try enjoying the uncultivated food in the world around us, and you will be trying him, at least for a second. Of course, I can only create an image of what the rest of his body feels like- from his round ears to his cute, precious toes. But I’m sure they’re perfect like the rest of him. I have no doubt about it.

All in all, he’s divine. He’s the most exquisite of all chocolate confectionaries. He’s unrivaled in presentation. He’s unparalleled in taste. He’s Johnny Depp.
