The Perfect Daughter
“The Perfect Daughter” is about a girl who told her mom she doesn’t like boys. Her mom is trying her hardest to not accept this and change her daughter back. Rachael just wants her mothers love like how it used to be, before she told her. Her mother says “But your so pretty” and “your too young to know who you are” but Rachel wants to fall in love with a girl but wants her mother to still love her. Rachael knows Jesus created her like this and he still loves her as much as he loves her straight best friends. Rachael wrote a very simple and heartfelt piece. A mother should love you unconditionally and support you in whatever it is you choose. Don’t let anyone bring you down Rachael, you are so loved.
