Insecurity Destroys Beauty
I think that girls feel insecure on what they wish to look like. They wish to look like girls on Ads, commercials, shows, movies, and etc. Also they wish to look like celebrities. Girls are insecure about their body image. They get insecure about how their body looks compared with other people on commercials, ads, shows, movies which we call media. Girls who wish to make a change on themselves usually have a low self esteem. A low self esteem from being insecure from seeing things they wish to be and look like on media. Girls shouldn’t feel insecure, they should love themselves. It doesn’t matter in looks. I think that media shouldn’t have ads that make girls feel like this.
Girls hurt themselves. Girls hurt themselves because they’re insecure about how their body image looks like and how they personally look like. What they see on media, such as seeing other girls that have a better body image than them such as having abs and being thin causes girls to hurt themselves because they get too insecure about how they look. Social media can ease many of the insecurities girls feel about their identities. Also girls don’t know their worth. They think it’s measured by looks. Which is dumb to think about your self to be honest. Everyone is worth more than they’ll ever know.
Girls get so insecure about their body image because they want to be like those celebrities and models on ads that have a nice body. Most girls starve themselves so they can be thinner rather than being fat. Starving yourself is not a good way to get thinner, starving yourself can cause eating disorders for example anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating-disorder. Girl are also really insecure about their looks because they want to look like girls on Ads with the “perfect smile” , “perfect face” but no ones perfect . Girls buy expensive makeup because they think it makes them look prettier. But actually it doesn’t, there actually hiding their true beauty. Girls also do plastic surgery and botox just because they think they’ll look better but actually they don’t, its covering your true beauty. As you get old your plastic surgery and botox would’nt last forever. It’s like wearing a mask to cover your inner beauty. But the mask destroys your inner beauty (insecurities destroy beauty).
Some may argue ads / social media don’t cause insecurities and don’t cause girls to hurt themselves. However insecurities and girls hurting themselves is a big problem. This all starts from social media. Social media makes them feel insecure on what their body image looks like which causes girls to starve themselves.Girls starve themselves to get thinner. Girls starving themselves can lead to have eating disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating-disorder. You can die from this eating disorder which is really serious.
Girls shouldn’t be insecure, you should be happy about yourself no matter what. Life isn’t about how you look like it’s about how you live your life how you want to, in a good way. Everyones worth more than they’ll ever know. You shouldn’t wanna change anything about yourself because it’s not worth it. Every girl is beautiful in every way, it doesn’t matter about your body image or looks. JUST BE YOU!
