Masterpiece Cakeshop vs. Colorado Civil Rights
After hearing about this masterpiece cakeshop v. colorado civil rights I have decided that I would agree with the couple even tho I go to church and believe in god I still don’t feel that it would go against my religion. The reason I agree with the couple is they should be able to have that same rights to order a cake like everyone even tho they said it was not about the cake they should still have equal rights. Even if the owner refused the order in the cake he also said in statement that “I don’t create cakes that celebrate Halloween, promote sexual or anti-American themes, including individuals who identify as LGBT.” For me he should have had something saying he didn’t create cakes that serve those kinds of things instead have having the couple making a scene. There for i agree with the couple in this situation.
