I think that even if you are not christian, you will make it in heaven! How do we know if what the bible says is true? We don't really have a reliable source for that. And just because you are not a follower does not? mean you are not his children. If God truly created us equally, in some way, why would there need to be a reason for going to hell or to heaven? In god's eyes we are his children, and nothing can change that. You shouldn't always trust something you read. I mean how do we know that they are hiding the truth from us with this bible?? How do we know it's not all made up?

its really based on the belief. Briefly, if you truly believe in God, it means you believe that the Bible is true as it says in the Bible that God will protect the Bible; meaning that He will maintain the Bible 'pure'. so if you believe in God, it means that the Bible is true. moreover, although God loves us equally, He gave us free will to live so its really based on us whether we choose to do wrong things or not

The answer is: we don't. We don't know. The bible doesn't mention a lot that we wonder, so that's left to us to think about. No one is right or wrong. God loves everyone and that's the point. I don't try to push people to be christian like me, that's God's job to do. Until then, I will be a good person, knowing that sometimes I will fall.

like suspended animation... I can't remember what the term is for it but C.S.Lewis or J.R.Tolkein thought the same way (can't remember which one.)

Everyone may be created equal, but they won't choose the same thing. You could just as easily send five perfectly equal children into a room of toys and say only the well-behaved ones get candy. If you give the bad kids the candy as well, then what is the point of the others being good?

juxtaposition - I love long words! but what I mean to say is: The Bible states that It is thoroughly and completely true. thereore the Bible is either completely true or completely false. Science, believe it or not, has proved many aspects of the Bible - all aspects that do not have to do with faith. I think it's pretty safe to have faith in the rest of the Bible that can't be scientifically proven.

technically, we always had the choice between good and evil. Adam and Eve - choose to obey (good) or disobey and eat the fruit(evil).

this is a very interesting idea. however, if the Bible is not reliable may not be true, are you choosing and picking what to believe: in God, heaven, hell, and all humans being created equally? If the Bible is all made up, why be concerned about heaven at all? If anyone can go to heaven, why did Jesus come to earth in the first place? and why is there any such thing as a Christian if anyone can go to heaven anyways? God did create us equally - we all have the free will to choose heaven or hell. I believe the KJV, and according to it, there is heaven and hell. heaven was the home of God and his angels, and when Satan rebelled with one third of the angels, God made hell for them. when Adam and Eve broke His one rule, they could no longer go to heaven because they were not perfect. therefore, God sent part of the Trinity, Jesus, to earth to die for our sins so that we, all sinners and no longer able to go to heaven on our own, could have a chance to repent to Him and thus have our sins taken away so we can go to heaven when we die. We, all created equally, can choose whether to go to heaven or not.

Advice for life: Don't Die

Correct, but the Lord knew that we would fall.  He purposefully made it that way.  If man had not fallen into sin, we would not have the choice of evil or good.  We would be walking around like robots saying "I love God.  I love God.  I love God."  We would not have known of anything else to worship.  However, God purposefully gave all of us a choice.  That's the beautiful thing, though.  Those who have chosen His path can help others, who have not chosen His path, onto it.  We can show others His love.  A Christian's missionary world begins when we step out of our front door.  We did not "blow it".  We simply gave ourselves a challenge.

Faith is what gives you certainty that the Bible is true. You say it can't be proven, well how about you do your research and prove that its false. Dont rely on Google or Wikipedia for your answers either. A good thing for you to do is to try to prove the Bible is true and then try to prove that it is false, it will open your eyes to a lot of different opinions and most importantly, facts. And you will find in your research that just because you cannot put an exact date on a certain event does not mean it did not occur. And yes everyone is a child of God even if they don't believe in Him. Just to clarify something, "christian" means follower of Chritst, it's not a religion. God tells us that the only certainty you have of going to Heaven is by following His word and Jesus, I do not know what happens to everyone else. Yes God created us all equally and well some people do go to heavn and others go to hell. I'm not goig to sugar coat it but we all deserve hell because face it, we have all sinned but God sent down Jesus to clear us of our sin and now we're saved but that doesn't mean we're all going to heaven. We need to genuinly love and live for God. Why should God allow those who spent their lives worrying about earthly possesions to eneter heaven? Why shuld he spend eternity with those who don't love him? Some may say its unfair but if He were to be fair, we would ALL burn in hell but he loves us so much that he gives us opportunities to turn to him and have a chance at heaven. And to who ever is reading this, take this as a sign that God is trying to connect with you and is searching for your love and just remember that he loves you!

wo sounds like all of you are listening ot your pastors.I do NOT beleive that anyone goes to heaven when they die.i mean can anyone show me evidence of this. or is this your pastor saying this with no citing of scripture. i do belive the Bible from front to back. and i do belive that only those who guard and keep his commands and accpet Yashua/J-sus as messiah they will be saved. when we die we stay there until the new jerusalem is built then we go there:)

I may not always agree with someone else's beliefs but it isn't my job to judge them. I belief that God has a plan for each of us and loves us all the same no matter what. I do not necessarily condone everyone's behavior but i most certainly do not take it upon myself to tell them their opinion is wrong. Because that is not my job. Jesus Christ feasted among sinners and publicans without judgement on them. He healed those who had no love for him or what he taught. I want to be like Jesus and accept and care for people for who they are because I'd like them to do the same favor for me.

We Christians don't look down on non-believers, we aren't any more special than them.  We want everyone to go to Heaven and live forever with God and Jesus, but it won't be that way because the rapture (the second coming of Christ) is coming closer everyday; only the saved will go to heaven, but not everyone will be saved in time.  All in all, we want to get people to believe on Jesus and get saved.

As a nascent scientist, I am somewhat troubled by your juxtaposition of "Science" and "Bible."  Assuming that you are correct in stating that some historian has proven that the literary content of the Bible has not changed, that does not merit a status of "ABSOLUTELY CORRECT" for the entire work.  Too, science dictates that few things are absolutely true, if any.  We call these things laws and usually can depict them in nice little formulae.  They are predictable, inerring, and subject to revision the moment some concrete evidence with enough empirical and logical support rises up.  Mind you, these are simply the laws.  Everything else is a theory, and theories are subject to an even more rigorous process of revision and disputation.  Your claim of the unerring content of the Bible is a theory.  Support it.

In the beginning of the world there was no sin or death.  After sin entered the world with Adam and Eve (and Satan's fall from heaven), God punished the world by creating death.  However, Jesus died for the sins of the world.  Romans 6:23 says:  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Anyone who doesn't accept the gift of salvation will go to hell for all eternity.  Plus the Bible is 100% TRUE; God told certain men what to write.
