OP-ED: should transgender people be allowed to play sports with the gender they define as?

My friend is female and is soon to be male. She also plays track and field and with all of the people who won't accept her transition. She worries that she won't even get a chance to run. They didn't say that people within the trans community can't run with the sex they're soon to be. Though it wouldn't look right if she raced amongst females and looked like a male, this supports my decision on why I am pro with letting the trans- men or women run with the sex they feel comfortable with. Allowing trans athletes to compete against the sexes they identify themselves as will not harm or hurt anyone in the making.

Well it wouldn't hurt the cisgenders males or females that know how to run. It would only come as a threat for the cisgenders who can't run as well as the ones who do, and those are the ones who are suing and complaining to the laws. And mostly they're anti LGBTQ forcing trans to play on sports teams they don't identify as coerced. And there are laws passing for trans girls to run with males but that isn't right. And wouldn't be a good look for the track and field olympics.

Tia Thomas made all arrangements to be acceptable to go compete with gisgenders,  as a trans athlete but yet her success has been looked down at because she is a trans athlete and she is looked at as a threat to women's sports. So that includes that she is in a lack of everything because she is classified as a threat. And that takes tool in alot like her money and the coaches opportunity for her is very limited she gets placed with abusive coaches and doctors and even limited coverage.

Being an athlete has nothing to do with gender. When you go out there you are only being looked at for what you bring to the table, it's more than what anti-trans people are fighting for. When you step foot out there the judges are looking at the effort you put into everything. They are looking at if you are capable of keeping your spot. Trans are not harmful to cisgenders males or females. It would be a better look in the Olympics if they gave these amazing athletes the opportunity to do what they love and do best. Not to be judged on what they look like but be judged on how they do it.

In many countries over 35 bills have been restricted and introduced by state lawmakers that prohibit transgender athletes from competing against cisgenders athletes. The Mississippi governor took action and signed a law that banned all transgender athletes from playing with cisgenders and that law is pushed in for high school athletes too.

Everyone has a right and all rights should be respected and not picked on because of the way someone looks or identifies themselves. We must embrace transgrenders and others in the LGBTQ community And protect our men and women, everyone wins in the end. No one is useless for this world if you light a burden for another. Everyone is welcome in this world.
