Sports in Highschool
High school would not even be close to the same without sports. Sports are an essential part of school. Sports are a significant part of high school life in various ways. One specific reason to keep sports in high school is for kids to meet new people and to form lasting relationships. Kids who might be socially awkward can meet new people with similar skills. Many lasting relationships have started during high school sports. Another reason sports are so vital to a high school student is that to many, sports can be stress relievers. If one enjoys their sport, it can be a way to forget about the bad in their life. Exerting your body can end up being surprisingly relaxing. There is something beautiful in pushing oneself to the full potential of the body. Another very important aspect of sports in high school is to keep kids in shape. Without sports, many people wouldn’t get any exercise and maybe become overweight. Many people do not have the motivation to push themselves like a coach would. Sports are undoubtedly an important aspect of the high schoolers life and without them, many lives would be completely different.
