This Lie

This was from a secret I received. Actually, it was a poem. And it was interesting. I hope I did it justice:
This lie is the only truth I've ever known
This lie is all I own
This lie won't let me rest my eyes at night
This lie is all I fight
This lie can't fill my overburdened core
This lie is all I store
This lie puts a smile on everyone's face
This lie is all I chase
This lie refuses to set my soul free
This lie is all I see
