Your Heart Was My Blanket

Wraped up in it with the smell of you.
It was as if it loved me too.
It was keeping me warm during the night.
It was red with a little song.
It went [bump bump bump bump]
Hearing that beat just put me to sleep.
Protection, My Sheild, and My Shelter.
I carried it with pride.
But Then.......
The blanket turned black.
Decieved, betrayal, unfaithful
No more tuck ins
Now wraped in lies
I no longer hear your song
My blanket has outgrown me....
