Life for me ain't been no perfect song
Its had flat notes
And missing lyrics
And bad harmonies
But all the time
I kept singing
And playing on
Correcting the notes
And finding my lyrics
So don't give up now
Don't lose your song
Because you find it hard
For I am still playing
Still singing
And life for me ain't been no perfect song.
