Silent
I won’t stand around waiting
You tell me to be quiet
But maybe I don’t want to go quietly
And I definitely won’t go without a FIGHT
Quiet you say
While I’ll be the first to disagree
I won’t be silent
I refuse to be quiet
I want to be LOUD
Making noise comes easily
Silence is frightening
Maybe I would like to
SCREAM and SHOUT
So the world can’t ignore me
We don’t want to sit STILL
And listen
We want to STAND up and HELP
I won’t stay silent much longer
One of these days we’re all gonna SCREAM and SHOUT
Until you can't ignore us any longer
