Wishing
a blue stuffed bear
lay on my lap on my floor
as i stare blankly
at my shut wooden door
all i hear is yelling
as i clench on my bear
this yelling makes my heart break
but nobody seems to care
i feel like a child
defenseless and vulnerable
my happyness is drained
like an everlasting dull
all i want is no more yelling
for everybody to get along
for everybody to love each other
and everybody to belong
but i sit on my cold floor
on my lap my teddy bear
and i listen to the yelling
because nobody seems to care
