These Lies
These lies that swirl around the air,
Harming those whom you hold dear.
Used to build a weak façade,
They will eventually crumble,
Making you face who you really are.
Why don’t you realize these lies you tell
They don’t make you look tough, strong or smart.
These lies only make you look
weak, dumb, and fake.
Don’t you know you’ll eventually get caught?
And when you do, who will you lose?
