Ode to My Mother

She will always help me in times that are rough,
And will build me up when things get tough.
I know she supports me whatever I do,
And why she does this I have no clue.
She is more than a woman, more than a friend,
And is someone I know will be here till the end.
Not father, not cousin, not sister, nor brother,
My one true best friend in my life, my mother.
