Alone
In a park waiting for a friend.
White doubt moves in a spiral, closing in on you.
A turquoise tear sliding down and falling off your chin.
Whisper’s fingers hook around your head to cover your mouth and hold your throat.
One solitary heartbeat swirling and mocking your loneliness.
The red cloud of disappointment forming in the sky leaving a sad taste.
Toss sadness to the wind, it will return as closure, letting go of your grief.
Leaving the park without a former friend.
