Sweet voice,
Enchanting voice,
Soothing me to sleep.
A voice so sweet,
I have to stay,
And let you see the real me.
Bitter voice,
Sour voice,
Harshly forcing me to stay.
Telling me you’re sorry,
You just had a bad day.
Discipline.
Discipline.
That's what you always say.
Justifying your reasons
To make me stay.
Bruising,
Pleading,
Cuts and blood.
At the end of the day,
My body’s numb.
Smiling,
Laughing,
Warm and snug.
At the end of the night,
I need your love.
