Preacher
My body hums the song that is my heart beat
Pounding and pulsating my emotions they run deep
Alone in this feeling I have felt for some time
From the deepest of my soul, my mind and heart do bind
For me nothing is unmovable or displaced
Theirs not a thing that hasn't been seen nor faced
On the other hand an object with a light so impure
Might shine through closed walls to the thickest of doors
But just maybe a door just wasn't available yet
So seeing nothing while seeing all would make you forget
The knowledge you had to see past fates dark hell
Was sadly enough lost when tempted you were by his own spell
Cry now and let your tears replenish thine soul
Weep from the darkness of the deeps so black now as it hasn't taken its toll
A level I though not a person could ever have reached
Is now where I find you my son, I guess word wasn't heard as I did so preach
