A Friend in Me
You sit,
You stare.
The day goes by,
Do you really care?
You walk outside,
The wind blows through your hair.
A tear trickles down your cheek,
Do you really care?
You sit silently at lunch,
The spots around you bare.
You eat quietly,
Do you really care?
All the others play games,
You can't play, that's not fair.
But you just accept it,
Do you really care?
Your locked up inside,
You can't come out, you wouldn't dare.
You want to scream, but you can't,
Do you really care?
I want to help, but I can't,
We would really make a pair.
I know where your coming from,
But do I really care?
Your better these days,
You have made a few friends.
I know who you are, you're me,
I'll be with you till the end.
With you forever, and I just wanted to say:
I do care,people care,the world cares.
I just wish you knew.
