In the end
In the end,
It doesn’t matter
How many baskets you’ve made,
A’s you’ve been rewarded,
Or even how many guys you’ve been with.
In the end,
It doesn’t matter if you
Won the race,
Or were a big disgrace.
In the end,
All that matters is you tried,
And you didn’t give up.
If you do not win,
It is not a failure,
It is only a lesson.
Telling you to try harder.
Don’t get discouraged
If you don’t come out on top.
This is proof that you
Are not perfect,
Proof that there
Is room to improve.
