Make a Trail
Don’t go where there is a road,
But walk your own way,
And leave a trail.
It may, at first, be a heavy load,
And time may crawl from day to day.
At times it may feel as if you’ll fail.
But if you keep on going,
And don’t give up on hope.
You’ll get somewhere in life,
As long as you keep on rowing.
Talk to friends, they’ll help you cope,
There may be times of strife,
And times of utter sorrow.
But times that you will smile big,
Are times that’ll make your pathway clear.
