Kaleidoscope Eyes
Mind full of questions
Heart full of surprise
Looking at life
Through kaleidoscope eyes
Breathing fresh air
She runs with her ideas
Inspired by life
Not giving into fears
She lives to live
She speaks to be heard
She loves to be loved
She moves to go forward
New is her passion
She thrives on insolence
The weird is her mentor
She works for a difference
She feels no regret
Takes life by the reigns
She has a free spirit
That no man can tame
She acts on her whims
Lives on a high
Looking at changes
With kaleidoscope eyes
If we were more like her
The world would be better
We wouldn’t judge so simply
Or have new things fettered
But to be as she is
We would have to be open
Nothing kept secret
No thoughts unspoken
The fact is, it’s not possible
I have to surmise
We all just aren’t born
With kaleidoscope eyes
